Alnwick Creative Theatre School |
| Vicki Taylor, the Founder and Principal of Alnwick Creative Theatre School, had a passionate
belief in the benefit of stage school for every child. She trained at Arts Educational Trust in London, and grew up in the world of Theatre and Films, in which her family are closely involved. On completion of her training, she worked for a brief time in the Film Industry, which then went into a severe decline. She claims this was co-incidental! She went on to work at Westminster Abbey Choir School, where her interest in the developing child was sparked. Travel and family took over, and it was only as her family grew up, that she was able to pursue her life long ambition to open a Stage School. When time allowed, Vicki took Improvisation classes, where she taught the Students the skills and techniques needed to make "Impro" interesting and exciting. "They will be trained to become performers, and these skills are essential in every walk of life and need not be confined to the Stage or Screen. It is wonderful to watch the progress the Students make at ACTS. My aim is to give each pupil
a sense of self worth, a confidence in themselves, so they face the world and look it straight in the
eye." |

Welcome to ACTS - an Independent Stage School for
6 - 18+. Our aim is to provide our Students with professional training in a variety of skills that are important for an actor, as well as giving them the confidence to try new experiences. Skills learnt at ACTS are skills for life, not just the Stage. All Tutors have trained and performed in their specialised subjects. |
